Your Right To Obtain The First Nations VLT Siteholder Report From Your First Nation in Manitoba.
It is the obligation of the Council to publish and make available the FIRST NATIONS VLT SITEHOLDER REPORT in accordance with section 10.1 of the MGCC Siteholder Registration Terms & Conditions for First Nations. This yearly report ending March 31 of each year must be posted in public places for viewing by the community.

As a member of a First Nation community, your are entitled to request a copy of the FIRST NATIONS VLT SITEHOLDER REPORT of your band. If they are not forthcoming with posting the report each year, contact them with the above mentioned information.

An update to this. As of December 2013, you can request a breakdown of spending. And this request can be made directly to the MGCC auditor attached to the First Nation you are a registered member and resident of.
ReplyDeleteBut because the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission states they are in midst of changing regulations, the naming of who receives monies will be blocked out.
But that is a battle for another day. Obtain every bit of information you can get, and appeals can be submitted later.
